Sir,
I have the honour to acknowledge the receipt
of your despatch No 134 of the 22nd April, 1901, and to state that with the information before me, I am unable to settle the amount of pension which might fairly be awarded to ex-Police Sergeant
Keen.
2. I suggest that Dr Manson should be asked to
give his opinion as to whether Mr Keen's case falls within (a)
or (b) of No 13 of the Hongkong Police Pension Regulation
of 17th March, 1896.
